"It is not enough to take steps which may some day lead to a goal; each step must be itself a goal" - Goethe

Goals are the targets we set and pursue to improve our lifes. We set goals every day -  E.g. we wake up daily and get ready for work, school run, a jog, or daytime TV etc. But we tend to do these without much thought and planning as it is second nature to do these.

The goals I am focusing on here are those which will move aspects of your life forward to a higher, exciting and rewarding level.

Goals can be long term, medium term or short term. For example all of us set goals  at the start of each new year. But how many of them do we commit to and eventually achieve? How many of our new years resolution do we even write down and pursue.

Goals can be set for the short, medium or long term.

The key lesson to learn when deciding on a goal is to be sure of your commitment, desire, and drive to pursue them. It is also essential to write down clearly. This shows a sense of how serious you are taking the pursuance of those goals.

Take one step at a time with your goals. Start making a list of the 10 to 20 barriers you wish to overcome and write them down and in the first week try to tackle two of them.

Once you have done those two goals start tackling another two and build up that way.Your sense of achievement will give you the confidence to pursue more goals.
